Issue No. 36: Fitness Tech

Happy Monday!

And Happy Fourth of July to our readers in the U.S. 🇺🇸🎆

Today we are covering a theme central to the lives of many Gen Zers: fitness tech.

Gen Z is one of the most health-conscious generations, and alongside areas like mental health and nutrition, fitness is a core part of our wellbeing:

  • We do it to engage with others
⇒   The number one motivation for Gen Z to exercise post-covid is its social element
  • We want it to be fun
⇒  90% of Gen Zers rate ‘fun’ as ‘important’ or ‘very important’ when buying fitness equipment
  • We love using tech to achieve our fitness goals
⇒   Millennials and Gen Z combined account for ~90% of total users of online or app-based workouts

Let's take a look at some of the amazing founders building in this space  👇
